Generally in child stage planets given 1/4^th results. Stage between child and youth 1/2 and youth stage full results. Some results in old stage and No results in dead stage. 

Exception:

1. Moon becomes exalted at 3° in taurus Rasi which in dead stage as per above rule even than it gives Good result.
2. In Cancer Jupitar becomes excalled at 5° Which is dead stage as per above rules even than it gives good result.
3. If any planets is in movable stage (1,4,7,10) between 0°  to 3°20′ then it becomes Vargottam in Navamsa and gives good results where as per rule written above it is in child/dead stage.
4. Any planet is in dual stage (3,6,9,12) between 26°40′ to 30° then it becomes Vargottam in Navamsa chart and gives good results where as as per above rule above planet is in child/dead stage.
5. According to Jamini Jyotish Planets with maximum degree will becomes Atmakaraka and gives good results where as as per above rule that planet is in a child/dead stage.
6. If any planet is at 29°, 0° & 1° then it becomes powerfull and gives good results.
7. If any planet is in 1,5 and 9 Rasi between 0°  to 3°20′ then it will be gandmool nakshtra and gives bad result.
8. If any planet is in 4,8 and 12 Rasi between 26°40′ to 30° then it will be in gandmool and give bad results. In Situation 7 & 8 it will give results according to rule mention above.
9. If planet is nearear to Ascendent degree it will give good results.

              Example: Ascendent degree 1° sun 0° Mars 0° Both the planets will good result.
